Text saying that Face ID is enabled.

i received a text from 900070005006 saying that "Face ID has been enabled for your My Verizon account for mobile number " my phone number ".

My iPhone does not have Face ID capability. Is this spam, or is there another possible explanation?

SOLVED.

My wife logged into account using my number but her phone, which she elected to attach a Face ID to log it.  I was not near, so the text surprised me.
