Will Verizon support a OnePlus X?

I am looking at a phone upgrade, a non-Verizon phone, but I want to ensure that the bands utilized by the phone are supported on the VZW LTE network.  The phone supports the following:

GSM: 850, 900, 1800, 1900MHz

WCDMA: Bands 1/2/4/5/8

FDD-LTE: Bands 1/2/4/5/7/8

CDMA EVDO: -

No, it won't work.

Lacks CDMA, needed for Verizon.

You'd be better served spec-wise finding an LG G2 VS980 at much cheaper a price.

OnePlus X vs. LG G2 - GSMArena.com

Refer to that comparison for needed connectivity requirements.

We definitely want to ensure your device is fully operational! What device are you interested in? Purchasing a non - VZW device may have effect features of your service. It's important to understand what device your considering and if it has the possibility of being used on the VZW network.

Pay attention to the Frequencies of the LTE bands as well, not just the bands themselves.us-wireless-bands.png

The phone is the OnePlus X.

GSM: 850, 900, 1800, 1900MHz

WCDMA: Bands 1/2/4/5/8

FDD-LTE: Bands 1(2100) / 2(1900) / 4(1700/2100) / 5(850) / 7(2600) / 8(900) - Courtesy of GSMArena

CDMA EVDO: -

Given what I see I would come to the conclusion that it is indeed compatible.

I was looking forward to the one plus phone but done that is not an option I think I well have to go with the LG V10.  That seemed to be the best choice when compared to the one plus x (not compatible) and the htc one a9.

All comes down to the money.  $700 for the V10 vs $125....for a comparable model to the OPX.

WCDMA is NOT CDMA. WCDMA is UMTS which is a GSM upgrade path. There are not compatible with each other.

OnePlus X is a 5 year old phone.

If you mean the OnePlus Z (which has also been called Lite) specs haven't been released but the other 2 8 models, and the 7 models, and the 6T models all are Verizon certified.

So I think it is safe to say the Z/Lite will be also

DewMe, the best option is to check the IMEI on the following web page https://www.verizonwireless.com/onedp/byod#/ for compatibility.
