Hello,
I would love to assist you. If you are looking to make a payment without verifying the account you may call customer service at 800-922-0204 and do so or I can assist you as well. If your friend is assisting you with their information you can call the customer service number above from your device and enter your friend's number and last four digits of their social security number and make the payment through the automated system. Please let me know if you need any additional assistance. Thank you.

What is Verizon's thought process regarding why we can not pay a friend's bill online as simply as we can pay our own ?
With today's technology and billing system verification procedures available, this hardly seems like it is just an oversight by Verizon's online payment options. This seems so deliberate that I would like to know the reason behind it.
Thank-you

I don't know the official thought process, but one concern I would have: you obviously cannot see the bill details for privacy reasons, so all you would be told is that the bill is $101.59 say. If later on your friend had a dispute about the bill, it's already been paid, and it might be much harder for you or your friend to get some of the money back. I doubt if that is Verizon's reason though!

I appreciate the help you're trying to help with paying the bill. To clarify, are you on the account with the other person as an account manager? Please send us a private message so we can assist.
