remote access to phone messages?

I'm in  a bind.  I am out of the US for 3 weeks in a very remote location without phone service.  I am expecting a few very important messages by phone.  Before leaving the states I forgot to change my phone message (personal greeting) on my cell stating "I am unavail by phone until 9/28/09...please contact me via email at the following address...."  and now as I mentioned I don't have access to do this.  Can I give my wife my passcode that accesses my voice mail and have her call my cell phone and work through the prompts to change my personal greeting?  Is there any other way to do this?

If you have no phone access, then having your wife do it would be the best (only?) solution, as far as I know.

create a google voice account, have your wife forward the phones to this number

then set up the voice account to email you transcripts

You can call your cellular number from anywhere, press # to interrupt the greeting, enter your pin, then navigate the menus as you would from the wireless handset.
