I live in NY & have phone, text & basic internet service; I cannot make calls, send text messages or access the net from my cell at this time. It appears to be a system outage. I went online to find information & of course they have none. I don't know if there are others with the same problem at this moment, but it would be nice to find information on service outages on this website.
I'm having the same problem and can't find anything about an outage and it's extremely frustrating.
Same issue here, in Orange County NY. Outgoing calls fail and incoming calls go to voicemail. SMS and data are working fine though. Where are you guys at?
I live in White Plains, NY (Westchester) but am currently at my job in Stamford, CT and don't have service.
We are in Orange County also. Thank goodness it is up & running again. Jesterking said it was a tower in NJ & it affected all the way done to NC! I don't know what caused it, but I am glad to have it back.
It's not just you. I contacted my local Verizon in Middletown NY, and they confirmed there is an outage. They suspect it's a tower in NJ, but that's a rather large effected area for one tower, considering you can't pick one up after about 10-20 miles. No ETA
Same problems here, failed calls/text/data, but I am in NC, would be nice to have an update!
