Do I need to purchase additional service for the month when I am going to visit Canada for a short period (less than 2 weeks)?

If you plan on using your phone in Vancouver, BC I would definitely add an international service so you don't run up crazy (like thousands of dollars) bills. I would recommend adding TravelPass, and on days you use the phone you will get charged $2 per day. For 2 weeks, that would be a max of $28 which is a good deal. With TravelPass, you will just continue your current plan with its minutes, texts, and data and be able to use it in Canada.
