I am just wondering, I have the $45 plan on my 4G device and it shows that I have unlimited talk, text, and pics and 500mb of data (1gb as I am on auto pay) when I send a pic does it use my data to send? Meaning, will my data be depleted when sending pictures?

If you are referring to pictures in texts no it doesn't.

Yes, that was what I was meaning. Because when I send a text or a picture in a text, my phone converts it to MMS prior to sending. I asked a Verizon Rep via chat earlier and they stated it does, but I could tell they didn't fully understand my question either.

MMS data does not count against your data. It counts towards your texting which of course is unlimited anyway. MMS does however uses the data network so if your data is shut off you won't be able to send or receive MMS. Regular texts and calls aren't affected.
