Jmhinton07, the good thing is that Verizon Wireless 3G and 4G LTE devices are already unlocked. As a result, a code to unlock our devices is not needed. Please keep in mind, due to variances in network technology, a device sold to function on our network may not properly function on another provider's network. I would recommend reaching out to your service provider to verify if the device you have is capable of being activated on their network.

Ann is correct. While postpaid phones are not locked, prepaid phones are locked to Verizon prepaid for 12 months.
