i have a monthly prepaid plan with 3mb of data and texting for around 70 bucks. I want to replace my galaxy s with another phone not bought through verizon. Will I be able to keep my current plan?
Galaxy S what? There are several version of the Galaxy S. As long as the phone is Verizon branded it should work. Also I'm sure you meant 3 GB not 3 MB as that is a very small amount of data.
