Is there a "sandbox" where someone could go to learn how to use Mobile Web without consuming airtime?

I don't know about a "sandbox", but there is a How to Use Guide -- http://support.verizonwireless.com/how_to_use/mobile_web.html -- as well as an interactive user manual for the VX5600 -- http://cache.vzw.com/multimedia/mim/lg_vx5600_accolade/

Thanks for the links.  I've poked at Mobile Web enough now to learn that, at least on a low-end phone and prepaid plan, it provides no real benefit.  But now I know.
