If you have a pay as you go phone with Verizon and you don't add money to it for 6 months or more, will the phone become "inactive"? I have heard that if you don't use a pay as you go phone for 6 months or more, you'll lose the phone number, as Verizon will consider the phone inactive. Does anyone know if this is true?

Hello Sandman_CA,
If you number is inactive for more than 90 days there is a possibility that you will lose your number. If your account is 6 months inactive the number will be lost.
