I have a Verizon family plan and want to transfer the cell# of the additional line to an active Verizon prepaid phone I have an acct for. Optimally I'd like to switch the prepaid number to the additional line number and vice versa. The prepaid phone I've had for 5 months now. How would that be done or is that possible? I went to a Verizon store & was told they didn't know how to do that

Hi jono1968!
I'm able to answer your questions about migrating a prepaid line to a postpaid line, and vice-versa. To migrate from prepaid to standard monthly service, the customer must meet these requirements:
-Have active prepaid service for at least six months
-Pass a credit check and/or pay any required security deposit
-Have an active prepaid MDN in billing system
-Provide prepaid account security code at time of activation
In order to migrate a postpaid line to a prepaid line:
-The postpaid account must be current
-If within a service agreement, the Early Termination Fee would apply
-You may be able to keep the wireless number, but that is something that is not guaranteed.
Please keep in mind that if this change is made, the previous voice mailboxes will be deleted and all saved messages will be permanently erased.
I hope this information is helpful!
