Using VZW iPhone 7 in China with local SIM?

Hi,

My daughter will be traveling to China (Hangzhou area) and will be there up to 90 days. Rather than use day pass at $10/day, can she buy a SIM locally and use her VZW iPhone 7 on Chinese networks? It’s not a prepaid plan phone.

It sounds like your daughter has a great trip ahead of her Stumil24. I understand that you want to make sure that she is all set while traveling. You can use another SIM card but we will not be able to guarantee that this will work. We also would not be able to support her if it does not work since it is using a different network. Does this provide clarity?
