My daughter has an HTC Droid. She currently met someone, who she claims has a pre-paid verizon phone. I looked at the phone bill just now, racked up alot of minutes! In fact, she is over the alloted minutes. She thought because he has verizon is is free, I tried looking it up and it sure looks that way. So, am I reading it wrong, or is someone leading the other person wrong? As in, no, he does not have a verizon?

Verizon to Verizon is FREE, even if one person is a prepaid and the other is a contract person. So your daughters friend is not being truthful. Here is a site you can check on your computer it will tell you if a person is a verizon customer.
Re: how to tell if a number is verizon wireless? Just enter your daughters friends cell number it will tell you if its verizon.
