Why is my IPhone X is not compatible with an International Plan? I am going to two weeks vacation in 5 days and planned to add the international plan but Verizon website is telling that my IPhone is not compatible?

I have the same issue with an iPhone XR. I have an iPhone 8 Plus - which is compatible with TravelPass. But I am not able to add it to my husband's XR. We will be visiting Greenland, Iceland, Scotland, Ireland and the UK - all are on the list of TravelPass countries.
