Symptom:
phone gives message that something is plugged into USB port, and therefore Moto Mod won't charge phone.
Action: Literally, blow into the USB port. Or, use a duster can, compressed air, etc.
I'd not recommend sticking things in the USB port; you could maybe use a vacuum.
Worked for my phone, we'll see for how long.
