We're disappointed to learn there has been no change, LISLEW7. Has there been any damage to the phone? What is the make and model of your phone? We would like to check for any known issues after the update.

Thank you, LISLEW7. I did check the device for any known issues with the screen and did not find any. On any device the screen may show a burned image if your device is on for longer than two hours at a time, your display timeout is long, screen brightness is set to 100%, and there is excessive screen access daily. This unfortunately, is not covered through your device warranty. We would recommend looking into an insurance replacement, http://spr.ly/6584D2pSy;

Thanks for your help. Honestly, I pay more per month on my cell than most
do for a car payment, and have been with Verizon for almost 20 years.....
If I have to pay for a new phone, I'll be switching carriers. Especially
since Verizon doesn't have service at my residence, which allows me to
leave without penalty.

We don't want to see you go, LISLEW7. We completely understand the need to have a properly working phone. We do want to help in any way we can.

Also, have you test your phone with different display settings like changing Color Mode and Adaptive brightness. These features can be viewed when you go to Settings, and tap Display.
