My Xoom just said it was updating, so I said ok, now it is bricked and will not boot......
Update;
Ok, I did a hard reset (power and volume up) and it took longer to boot than normal but it's up and shows version 3.1 in settings/about. Hopefully this doesn't happen to other people.
FYI, it was on the standard base and charging with the Moto clock running when I got the popup for the upgrade. It shut down and green charged led was lit but it wouldn't reboot until I did the hard reset.

I'm on Wi-fi and I just got the notification. I'm taking the plunge now.
Update: I did the update. No problems rebooting, but the Xoom seems a little slower than normal. I got an update to Flash Player 10.3 last night, so I'm going to check out some Flash videos now.
Wraithdroid, I see that we are in the same area and we got the update around the same time.- Mark as New

Also, the Lock Screen Orientation option in the quick settings menu has changed to make more sense. The apps in the recently used apps tray is scrollable now, and the names of the apps are to the left. Those little changes are welcomed.
