4G/Wi-fi Issues

Within the few weeks I have been having issues with my Razr Maxx's 4G connection. I'm not sure when this started, since I still receive 3G, which is slow but still works. I had thought at first that it was just because I was traveling for the holidays and was in a limited 4G zone, but now that I'm home, where I typically get full 4G coverage, I have yet to see any. I also haven't been able to connect to my home wi-fi network, or even detect networks typically, which also screws with my GPS.

Any ideas would be very much appreciated.

Hummm mmc62,

This is quite the predicament. Let's see what changed to see about what we can do to fix this. Did you get any new accessories like a case or screen protector? They can sometime interfere with signal. Also, was there any damage to the device? There may be internal hardware damage that can cause issues with the antenna and signal.

Also, did you make any changes to your settings? If you go into your Settings menu, then More, you will see Mobile Networks. What do you have selected? Any apps for Phone Info or battery saver apps recently downloaded?

All in all, I might say this is hardware related since all antenna seem to be affected. Let us know.

Thanks!

Thanks for your response, Michelle. It seems as though after another week or so, and about ten restarts, this problem righted itself, and I now seem to be back to the terrible, spotty coverage that all Razr Maxx owners have been receiving after the ICS update.

I'm having the same problem with my Raxr Maxx in Clarksville, TN  It seems like people are having similar problems on different phones around the country.  Sounds to me like its a Verizon problem which needs to be fixed!
