When I used to plug in my phone to charge it with my USB connector to my computer it would automatically open Explorer and show the phone as an external drive. Now it does not do it? Even if I open Explorer it does not show it as a drive. Any clues what I may have done or changed or possibly had a new app that has changed something?
When I USB connect my Razr to my laptop, I get my "new" external drive. In fact, I get two additional drives, one labeled Motorola something, and the other as the external drive. ICS took away several options when you plug the two together. You no longer have a choice as to use it for charging only, and a few other choices were removed. Only Mass Storage is the only one available. You might just be missing a driver. In your computer, go to Motorola and download the drivers needed for your Razr. Once downloaded and installed, try putting the two together again. It should work.
