After recent update no email fetching?

Does anyone know how to fix it so my phone starts to receive email automaticly again? After the last update even though my settings are set to fetch mail every 30 minutes and push on my other email I still don't receive emails. When I tried to delete the account and re install it it says Invalid credentials?

Sorry I do not have an answer ....however I am not receiving all my emails that people say that they have sent me on Thursday.!?!?

  I had the same problem, but when I went into the email account settings, things were changed. Once I corrected them, things started working fine.

  A couple things to try. When was the last time you rebooted the device? If it has not been rebooted since the update, try that first. Also, the cache of the app may be having issues, so going into SETTINGS | APPS | ALL APPS | selecting the email client you are using, and select CLEAR CACHE, and see if that helps.

  There is one more thing short of a factory reset that may help, and that is a full system cache wipe. I will dig up the instructions, but try those first 2 ideas and let us know if that helped.

Thanks for the reply, those didn't work either. What is weird is I can't even retype in my password without receiving the error of Invalid credentials.

Depends on what type of email.  I have a gmail, Yahoo! and and POP3 account.  I had to delete the Gmail account and use the app as they recommended using only one app for that to save data and battery.  My Yahoo! account I entered through the email app as Yahoo! (I had problems before ICS and re-entered it as 'Other').  My POP3 I entered with my email routing and passwords.  But when ICS was installed, it added some settings and changed them so that account did not work.  I went into my settings for that account (cannot remember exactly since it has been almost a month) and had to play around with them in a way that I recognized them (these new settings were ones that I had never seen before).  It has been working since.

Hello ponie66 and thank you to the community for your input. I would suggest completing a master reset. This will resolve the issue with your email delivery. Additionally, it's usually a good idea to reset your phone after software update.

reboot a few times & do a few manual sync of email & see if things improve over a couple days.
