After update, Swype is gone

My Razr M endured an update last night, rebooted itself, and now swype is disabled.  It is turned on according to tools->settings->language and input->etc, but whenever I pull up the virtual keyboard it's gone.  That is, the swype icon (a yellow curve) doesn't appear, the arrow keys don't appear, and swyping doesn't work.  Anyone know how to get it back?

Clear your keyboards's cache, if it still doesn't work then try running a System cache on the phone see if that helps,  after running each of the suggestion's power cycle the phone.. b33

Have you long-pressed the space key to bring up the different input methods?

This is the first thing I noticed after the update. Now that I don't have the ability to swype, I regret ever allowing the update!

This is THE worst thing that they could have done to my phone. Instead of the the option to swype, now I get the option to use stupid emojis. What BS! Not a good trade if you ask me. I am very frustrated by this downgrade!!!

Swype is no longer in beta and licensing has expired. If you have a problem then Verizon isn't to blame.

Nuance and Motorola licensing deal expired. If you want Swype you have to buy it through the play store.

Just go into the play store and install the google keyboard.  You can change the default to the google keyboard and it does include the swype support which I have actually liked better!

I called Motorola direct at  1-800-734-5870 Mon-Fri 7AM-10PM; Sat-Sun 9AM-6PM CST to complain and they directed me to a free application called Nuance Swype and Dragon.  Downloaded it and it's working fine.   They made a BIG mistake dropping it.  I've been a Motorola customer for my entire life and this will definitely change my next upgrade.
