Well, I've been waiting patiently and I still have no ICS. When I go to Settings -> About phone, the option for System Updates is grayed out. When I press it, nothing happens. I don't get the "Your system is up to date", nothing. I have a stock 2.3.6 RAZR at the .181 update. Is there any reason I won't see the update if I am currently roaming? Why isn't there a website where I can download this on my own, send it to the phone, then run it? Does anyone have any suggestions? Anyone? Bueller?
Thanks. Have at you! - John

Your not alone one of the three phones on my plan refuses to update. My daughter has tried rebooting numerous times to no avail. I hope something breaks soon for all of you out there with the problem.

It goes by IMEI. It doesn't go by region. So that device hasn't been updated because the IMEI hasn't been notified yet.

I think Verison is trying to upgrade me but I keep getting the notification icon that something is downloading. When I click on it the message says Verison Wireless "0% ! Downloading suspended. Will resume shortly. . . ." No matter what I do, the download never starts or finishes. The \'/ arrow just churns away in the notification bar eating up my battery!
I have tried rebooting....it comes back
I have gone to setting and click on "about phone" and "upgrade"....just says ongoing
I have put it on wireless setting .......still won't start or complete download.
Anybody know how to make it download already or leave me alone?

I still don't have my update. Yes, I've rebooted my phone, done a soft reset, and cleared the cache. Only thing I haven't done is the hard/factory reset, which I refuse to do since that shouldn't have an impact on getting an update.
Hey, Verizon, you can chime in here anytime now.

Give this a Try Go Browser Tap More-->then settings-->Scroll up to Privacy settings--> Tap Clear All.! it will clear all Browser History then scroll the Paige to the end of it And tap Reset to Default it will be Ok to Do this.. then hit you Home button. Then do a Soft Reset. If this does not work you may have to do a F.R. as ones have Suggested..

Actually that's not true, some applications changes the system files to the point that the update network computer can not access requires files to verify your device for the update.
A number of users experience the same issue.. I attempted to update the Droid X and Thunderbolt before and a hard reset resolved to issue.
I suggest you backup everything and hard reset to try to resolve your issue.

I forgot about that. That time on the Droid X's Wildman and i'm on the Fence of Doing a F.R. on mine Wildman but with that Voice search thing hanging over my head and doing what should have Fixed it. it's looking more in that Direction that's what i need to do But just the F.R. i remember times before when we did them We just done that and Left the Internal Storage & whats on the SD Alone. I'm assuming it's still that Way Wildman how would proceed with doing one of these Razr's..

You should be able to just format the internal storage of device and leave SD Card alone...
But if you still experience issues because of stored app data on card I would then look at wiping sd card also.

Yes do a hard reset but do not wipe the sd card, but if this seems to not resolve the issue try removing or wiping the sd card also.
For not I would just hard reset the device back to stock.
