Android Upgrade, Motocast, and Unwanted Pornography

HELP!  Last week I did the Android upgrade on my Razr Maxx.  Since that time, I've had trouble accessing My Music and My Gallery pictures.  Tonight I tried to download some textbook podcasts to my phone, and discovered that Motocast somehow has a ton of pornography on my phone that I cannot get rid of.  I am disgusted that when I touch MOTOCAST, there is pornography on the screen under PHOTOS.  There is a TON of it... I have no idea how I got it, and all I know is I want it OFF my phone.  Does anyone know how it got there and how I can get rid of it.  I want my old way of accessing pictures through My Gallery and music/podcasts through My Music.  HELP!

My Gallery and My Music were removed in the update and replaced with standard Google apps; the changelog is here:

Release Notes - DROID RAZR/ MAXX - Software Upgrade - 4.1.2 (Jelly Bean)

I wish I could help with the Motocast issue, but I haven't used that app.

Thank you! I'll look into that.  I don't know what a "changelog" is, but I'll look at the link you posted.

Maybe you should disable Motocast.  I have never used it.

Motocast is a personal link between your devices at home it has no data through any other source than your own.

When you set it up its with an email address /user name & and a password. you select what media you want access to from computers you designate. On ours at the house we have it installed on the Motorola Razr and on two computers. Of these we selected Music and Photos. When our computers are on my wife can access her music from the home computers and when they are off she cannot.

Motocast only accesses photos and music and document off your own devices. It may be one of those devices has porn photos on it and that is what you are seeing. It does not search the web for porn.

There may be porn on your phone, if you went to a web site with the phone it may have pushed porn onto your photo gallery in this I cannot be 100% certain.

You can remove Motocast off your computers and your phone, and that should make you feel better.
