So far, I've only seen information that the update will come online. No date was given yet.

Some users might be already getting the update?

I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.

- Settings
- Apps
- Choose "All"
- Scroll down to "Google Services Framework"
- Click "Clear Data"
- Click "Force Stop"
This may take many times, over 20 in my case, but I finally got the update. Good luck!

Be sure to look for updates after each force stop. I neglected to add that in my previous post.

I'm glad you told me it takes several times I was getting discouraged after 3 that it wasn't going to work . I have the update downloading but it keeps stopping in the middle of it and then I have to reboot no update

I was having the same issue with the update error. I had to finally just do a hard reset and once I did that the update was installed perfectly.

What do u mean by hard reset? I have reset to factory default, shut it down after clearing everything. The install starts, gets 1/4 through then I get the triangle ! Of death and have to try again. Is there an error log? As a developer if I put something out like this I wouldn't have a job. This is ridiculous.

My guess is that he means to hold the power button and the volume button to reset the device.

LOL...You did get the device to reboot right though right? Maybe without ICS but it is running? What version did you have prior to attempting the update?

This issue is all over the internet so I am not alone.
I must be careful as big brother is watching.

I got my upgrade last week. I kept it on during the night connected to my WIFI. It upgraded just fine. HOWEVER, Adobe Flash does not work on it and there is no version that supports the new OS. I have a website that I go to every day that requires Flash and now I cannot use my Zoom to view the content.
