App auto-updating

Hey everyone,

I just got a Droid Razr and it is my first smartphone. I accidentally picked auto-update apps and when I checked this morning it was updating everything. How do I stop auto-updating for apps? Please give step by step instructions please.

Thanks!

go into play store and search for the app, select it from the search list. on the apps screen you will see open and uninstall. scroll down. you will see a green check mark and next to it allow automatic updating. tap it to clear the check mark. Unless you have permission concerns I recommend allowing auto update especially if you are not tech savvy. manual updating is annoying.
