I had this issue before upgrading to ICS and had hoped the update would help but alas, it has not.
Because of Motocast, I've got well over 1700 photos and just over 200 songs on my phone. Yes, they are all saved on my SD card and also on my computer (except the new stuff because my laptop died) but in the event I lose my phone, I'll lose all of them. When I tried doing the sync before, it would never go through, even after running all night long (on wifi). It would upload about 100-200 files and that was it. I thought maybe I need additional storage so bought the 125gb cloud storage plan. Figured for $10, it was worth. It. I did the upgrade to ICS today and tried again... It's been uploading for 3 hours now. I stopped it because I was curious and it's only uploaded 107 files.
Does anyone know if this is normal and if so, how long should I expect it to keep running? Also, will it go faster after it gets them all uploaded the first time, if it does it?
I just purchases a Samsung Galaxy S iii and I am having the same problem - any one have a resolution?
