Backup assistant won't sync

I have had my Droid Razr Maxx since last september. The original data transfer worked beautifully. I have my Backup scheduled to sync everynight. every morning I get an error message that my backup assistant could not take place. I called the help line, I was on the line for 90 + minutes without success. I was told I would contacted the next day. It is now January 2013 and my backup assistant still does not backup. Could someone please help me resolve this issue?

i have the same issue. when i backup it only backups info on my sim card, ie. only my vcard. look and see how many names you are backing up. also, will not download to my car phone directory.

BUA (back up assistant) is a crummy app. I could never get it to work on my BlackBerry and now use Google to back up contacts, Gmail, calendar and tasks. I've never had a problem. If you want to back up more than that, there are apps in the Play Store that do a good job also.

Oh my! I know how important it is to make sure that your contacts are backed up properly. Let's get this fixed. Reset the sync settings please. Go to settings>applications>manage applications>all>sync settings>clear cache & force stop. Once completed go back to main menu and click on the Backup assistant application. Keep me posted!

I have tried this but it did not solve my problem of backup assistant failed. My phone is a Samsung Galaxy S4.
