I recently updated my phone and it updated for about 10 minutes then it stopped and showed a black screen with n/a in the left corner. I've tried charging it, powering it off, factory resetting it, taking the battery out, but it still shows the black screen with the n/a in the corner. When I try to factory reset it, it shows a red message that reads, "Start up failed. Your device didn't start up successfully. Use the software repair assistant on computer to repair your device." It also says linux boot up failed. I'm not sure what to do anymore. Someone please help!!
You didn't say what brand and model phone. What happened when you tried the software assistant on the computer?
