Blinking triangle icon

What is the blinking triangle icon in my top bar?  I seems to suck my battery up and I cannot figure out what it is.

I believe a blinking triangle means that you are roaming on a network other than Verizon Wireless.

Ok, that would make sense.  We live in MT in a small town and we use another wireless companies towers.  I wonder if this means it charges me roaming or not....hmmmm.....

A red icon means warning.  See this list of icons.  Could be a problem with account sign-in(password) or sync; or a data connectivity issue .

It's not listed in the icons...I checked, thanks.  Not a red one either.  Just gray empty triangle, blinking.

A blinking triangle means you are roaming, but will not have any add'l charges. If it was solid, then you would be charged.

Thank you all of you - to no avail....no answer.  Have spoken with 3 Verizon people (2 customer service and 1 tech support).  As far as they can tell, it is not roaming.  They have directed me to call Motorola directly, as they do not have an answer for me.  Weird....have not called yet, haven't had a chance.  Anyone else gotten this?

I do, started today.  Husband has same phone no blinking icon.
