I have the Razr Maxx. After the ICS update i had numerous quirky issues. I reset the phone and reinstalled all the apps email etc. Some of the issues were cleared up but the biggest problem is the bluetooth which i use in the car. I paired with the car with no issue when a call comes in it sees the call and i can use the steering wheel controls to answer but there is no sound. This is very frustrating. I have talked to people and they say they can hear me i just cant hear them. Any ideas?

Mugly78643, I always have my phone connected to my car’s Bluetooth. Not only is it convenient for making and receiving but it is also a safety measure we all need to take. But don’t worry because I’m here to help!
Does this one way audio only happen when connected to the car’s Bluetooth? Have tried pairing to a Bluetooth headset? Do you experience one way audio when on a call and not paired to Bluetooth? Since the phone is recognizing your car’s Bluetooth it doesn’t seem to be an issue with the device.
I suggest you Master Clear the Bluetooth car kit for the car and then try and re - pair the device. This should help with the issues you’re having . The Car manuals will have the information on how to master clear the Bluetooth car kit such that it has no recollection of the devices it was paired with previously and it will pair with the phone as a new connection.
Keep me posted if you need further assistance.

1. Yes it only happens when on bluetooth
2. Have not tried with a bluetooth headset
I have cleared the car blutooth. I can add my wifes phone (Thunderbolt) and everything works as it should. I have re paired the device numerous times they have sent me a replacement phone same issues. There are actually numerous issues not only the bluetooth, WiFi intermittent Charging discharges instead of charging then when phone goes down to zero it starts charging again then when you finally get a charge on it...it runs down within a few hours. All of these things started with the ICS update before that i had absolutely no issues.

Mugly78643 and Verizon's John B;
Same true for me, after the update I Iost the ability to access contacts via bluetooth in my car. For a few weeks, the speaker works to receive a call, but I need to place the call from the Droid. I drive a lot and this is really a problem for me! I don't think its the car's problem, I have done the master clear, and tried to re-pair. I changed the name of the droid and the car detected the new name immediately. But no contacts show up, bluetooth doesn't work. Its the droid's problem, not the car's. I need a solution to this!
Also, my husband has the droid razr too. Whenever he goes through security pillars in the mall or a store, the alarm goes off. We've determined its his phone! What's up with that???
