i have checked the boxes, and utilized the help features on phone. I just upgraded from a samsung that synced fine. any advice
Are you using the Google calendar? When entering an event, make sure it is set for your Gmail account and not the phone calendar. You can also set this as the default in your calendar settings (in Calendar hit Menu-Settings-Default Calendar and check your Gmail address). I hope this helps.

I am also having the same problem where Google Calendar does not sync.
I have confirmed my default calendar is set suggested.
I have confirmed it under the calendar program with settings-default calendar
Also confirmed it under accounts settings.
The only way I can get calendar events to show up when it fails to sync is to go into accounts, select the G-Mail account and manually launch a sync of calendar.
On the HTC Incredible there was an option to set the auto sync, but I don't see that option on the Razor Maxx.
Another option the Incredible offered the Maxx doesn't is an icon to allow the user to initiate a sync of accounts from the home-screen & etc.
Not sure what the problem with sync and calendar is, but glad to see I am not alone.
If they can figure out the calendar sync and dropping of internet connection the Maxx would get a 100% approval rate from me.
