Camera stuck on front facing

This morning when opening the camera it opened to the selfie side, it won't switch to the rear facing, and LED won't light up either. I have seen other questions about this, and have tried the other recommendations. Is there a fix for this?

Jherden,

Well that is certainly an odd one! While selfie mode can come in handy at times, you definitely need the rear camera to work too. How long has this been going on? Since it started have there been any changes to the device such as new apps, app updates, software updates or even damage? If you place the device in Safe Mode and try the camera, do you get the same issue? See how to enalbe safe mode here http://www.verizonwireless.com/support/knowledge-base-105634/.

It is the same in safe mode. There hasn't been any changes to my phone. I

woke up Thursday morning and tried to use the flashlight that I have had on

my phone since I got it, and it didn't work. I took pictures with the rear

camera on Wednesday afternoon. I tried the camera Thursday afternoon and it

was only on front facing, or front facing video. I can't access or adjust

any settings for the rear facing camera. I tried uninstalling the updates

and it didn't make a difference.

Thanks for all the details Jherden and for performing those trouble-shooting steps. Is the software on your phone up to date? Is there any physical or water damage to your phone?
