I installed my 32 gb microsd card into the Razr after removing it from the old phone.
To be on the safe side I backed up the contents and did a full format (not a quick format) of the sd card while plugged into my pc before installing.

Mine worked just fine with the 32gb one I pulled out of the wifes thunderbolt when we upgraded her to the MAXX. She hardly uses the SD card for anything so she will never miss it.

I recently installed a 64GB card in my Razr Maxx. I copied the contents from the old card to my laptop and then installed the new card in the phone. Then, I formatted the new card and copied the contents from my laptop to the new card.

I still don't understand why you have 2 phones with 2 unlimited data plans. Not that it's any of my business, just curious.

We've had these plans for a long time Jim. All the Way back to when i had my Black Berries and we've updated when the Chance was available. One reason for the Two lines was at one time it was all we had No Main phone line one phone stayed Home one went in the Car. We still do that somewhat today but i figured if i'm going to get a phone with this type of Battery witch is Good one by the Way ( i still want a back up phone so if goes down i got my other one to take over ( i did this with my Droid X an my Incredible. But when 2014 comes around i don't if i will have 2 phones 1 phone or No phones. We'll see how it is when we arrive at that time..But were going to enjoy em.! as long as we Can..

Most micro cards should work fine, but remember that speed might be an issue. You might want to make sure it is one of the fast access cards if you are going to stream movies from it. Music shouldn't be too bad from a slower card.

sdcard memory is the slowest type of memory in your device. It isn't going to make anything snappy. Just more space.
