Can conversations be recorded?

Can conversations be recorded on my phone and is there a way to make a voice memo or note without having to send a voicemail to myself?

Well done some looking via google search an so far nothing yet good.  One tried to use a method of recording in the My Music but it sounded like Crap he said.. There might be though something in the Playstore i would say look for Voice Memo give that a look..

be careful if you're recording for legal purposes, something about letting the person know the conversation is being recorded.

Bear your Correct on that and back some time ago this is before these Smartphone were even thought of there was an Article or i seen it on the Tv that when recording for legal purposes the other party must know that you are Recording them by way of a Device that gives off a Beeping Sound.!
