Circles widget weather not updating

I've had my Razr M for a couple of weeks now and so far I like it. One thing is bugging me though. The weather on the circles weather widget doesn't seem to update very often. Last night it was almost 8:30 pm and it was still showing the weather as sunny. If I manually add my location that information is correct. I also don't see anywhere to set the update frequency or to refresh when opened. Right now my location shows as 60 degrees and cloudy while my location that I have manually entered shows as 60 degrees and sunny. I do travel around and would like the widget to update depending on my actual location.

I also have Beautiful Widgets and the weather there is always accurate but I do like the circles widget.

Any help?

have you tried to remove the widgets (toss it to trash) and re add it from the home screen?

Your Two weather Widgets might be Clashing Working against each other) i know in when using the EQ app No other EQ type can be use in conjunction with or sound issue can happen) you might drop the 3rd party one and see if your main widget resumes updates as it should)  b33

I don't think the two weather widgets make any difference as I had the problem before I installed the second one. That's why I tried Beautiful Widgets. On my other Droid phones there was always a setting where you could choose the update intervals or have the widget refresh automatically when the phone wakes up. No where to I see any settings like that.

On my weather Sometimes when i put my city it sometimes reverts to a City that is a Few Miles a Way it always annoys me but there's not to much i can do but it's nice to know the Temps an Winds for my City and not one 5 to 10 miles Away!

Yep, noticed this on my M too. Had to put cities in I wanted the app to monitor and it will update these if you spin the circle through it's phases. Surprised there is no option to update the info manually. But it definitely doesn't update often at all if using My Location.

Yes Dimap52, exactly what I've noticed. Maybe Jelly Bean will address this

issue. I may just go back to Beautiful Widgets as it works great.

Just seems strange that there's no setting for update intervals.

I’ll just have to wait for JB and see. In the meantime I’m back to using Beautiful Widgets.

I have the same problem with my RAZR M.  It is frustrating to see that it has not updated for over 12 hrs.  The only way to get current information is to go to the website, update your current location, exit back to the home screen and then its updated.  They need to fix this crap!  Otherwise I really do like the phone.

You can always Remove the Widget Long press over it Til you see the Trash can and Move your Finger Up and you can Find other Widget in the PlayStore.. Give them a Look)  b33
