You learn something new every day... I didn't know that app was there. I will have to try it to see how it works.

No, this is the first time I’ve tried to connect to the printer.
What are the pictures that you put there? I just tried the built in printer app, connected it to my home wifi, and then added my printer by IP address, and it printed fine. Just as another question, can you print to the printer from a computer on the network? One that is not hooked up directly?

Yes I can print from my laptop. The procedure I followed is as follows:
1. Clicked System Settings
2. Scrolled down to Printer Settings
3. Clicked Add Printer
4. Clicked Manual
5. Entered IP address.
6. Clicked Done.
Could not find printer.

That is exactly what I did, and it worked fine. What does it do if you choose "Find Printers"?

I assume you had your wi-fi turned on. I just clicked on settings/printer settings/add printers/auto search..find printers. Up came my printer and I entered the password........done deal. Hope this helps.
