I am on my eight phone from Verizon and I now have the razr maxx phone and when the operating system was gingerbread I could connect fine with my wifi at home. When my phone upgraded to Ice Cream Sandwich I lost wifi ability at home. I still do not have service from my wifi at home. I have talked to techs and they not taking responsability for this issue. They basicly are blaming my router or Motorola. Does anyone have a solution to this problem? Thanks! I personally would not buy another phone from them when my contract is up with them or would I recommend them to anyone.

Hey MEB17!
Well we want you to recommend us and contineu your services so we are here to help! I have heard a few other customers experiencing issues with this since the update. What I would ask is if you could change the security type on your router in order for the phone to accomodate the signal? This would be done through the settings on your router, which we do not support, but can be found simply online. Take a look at the model of your router and just Google how to change the settings (usually something about going to http://192.168.1.1 or something of the sort). Please change the security type from WEP to anything else (open, WPA or WPA2) and see if the phone will connect now. I can only assume that other devices (computers, tablets, ect) can connect to your wi-fi, correct? If so, let's get this working! Please let us know!
Thanks!
