Corporate email/calendar problem

I am trying to add my corporate email on my DROID RAZR MAXX and it does not give me the option to enter the domain/server information when I go through "add account" and the manual set up. It only asks for email address and password and then tells me "login failed". Any suggestions???? According to the users guide, there should be a domain, username, server, and proxy field that I do not have.

I was able to get this working on my phone today.  Here are the steps I took (and I was successful on 2 different RAZRs):

Home

Apps

Email

Corporate Sync

Enter Email address

For password: Press the space key (just once)

Next

Once I did the normal "adding your Corporate Sync account"  Then it took my to the page asking for domain, password (you will need to enter your correct passowrd), user name, server and proxy.

Hope this helps!!

I'm having the same problem. For that matter,it seems that the only way I can get yahoo mail on this phone is by downloading an app from the store... so separate shortcut for each email account. Great. 2 days into Android and Verizon and I'm already missing Sprint and Blackberry.

cepperly,

Good afternoon! I'm sorry to hear of the difficulty the corporate e-mail is causing you. I want to provide the steps to ensure total resolution. Please review our support page on adding Corporate Sync to the Droid Razr. We also have a page for the configuration of corporate sync.

Please post of your progress so I and the community know this has worked for you.

Thank you,

Hi Adam,

Thanks for responding to the thread. The link you provide indicates that we should be able to input more than just email address and password. That is, it provides input for domain, etc. In at least my case, I am unable to do so on my phone; I'm still stuck. That said, Veronica, the tech support person I've spoken with on the phone, has worked hard to try and help resolve this issue. We haven't solved it yet, but I certainly appreciate her efforts.

I spoke with our IT people and their experience is that there is some issue with the moto interface that impedes its interacting appropriately with the exchange server. I don't understand it, but that is what they tell me.

Is it possible that the onscreen keyboard is blocking your view of the fields? I've got the Razr not the Maxx I understand however that they are the same as far as the Blur interface is concerned.
There are settings for all the required fields. Does the Maxx have a manual setup option? Seems like on some of the older droids there was an auto configuration as well as a choice to do the setup manually.
