DROID MAXX dead after overnight charging

keepitsimpleengineer

From time to time my DROID MAXX ends up dead with zero charge after overnight charging. This happens with Motorola's charger and Verizons charger. I have to plug it into my computer for a coupla hours before it's usable again. Verizon sent me to Motorola and Motorola promised to replace the phone but now they don't know who I am. I need a reliable phone. Any sugguestion..?

keepitsimpleengineer,

This certainly doesnt sound like a strange occurance. I am slightly confused, when you say that Motorola promised to replace the phone but then didn't. Is your device still under warranty? Is there any physical/liquid damage to the phone? Please let me know. Thank you.

The phone is in warranty. There is no physical damage. Motorola issued and RMA and charged my credit card for $200 for "Advance Exchange program". It is now a full week after the promised replacement was to arrive. There have been 4 "chats" resulting in unrequited promises of contact or resolution.
