Anyone know how to delete the pre-installed apps.  Every day they want me to update things I don’t use….

Try changing the notification settings for the Play Store (formerly Android Market) to not notify you of app updates.

That's what I did on my Thunderbolt.

I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.

Hello BigTuna00,

Ann154 thanks for your response. BigTuna00 I would like to add there is no way to delete the pre-installed apps on your Droid Razr. I agree with Ann154, you can change your notification settings. Below I provided instructions on how to change notification settings for the Play Store (formerly Android Market):

Select Apps

Select Play Store

Select Menu button

Select Settings

Under General uncheck Notifications

Let me know if this helps.

Thanks,

What a joke...they sell the RAZR MAXX claiming 16gb of internal storage but only 8gb is actually available to the user due to the OS and the ton of totally useless unremovable apps that Verizon puts on the phone.
