I really dislike the new upgrade that came out this week. Especially the texting and dial pad. Seems more like a downgrade. Does anyone now if I can un-upgrade?

No, you can't revert to the previous version of the OS.
You could purchase an older model phone running the Android version you want and is an old enough model to be guaranteed to never get another OS update again.

Why would motorola want to "dumb down" their Android phones. Is it an attempt to get all of us with last years model to upgrade to new phones with better features or the features we used to know and love on our phone?
