What if I'm still using Hotmail? Is there a way to create a file to keep some of the email in. I don't want to delete some emails 'cause it deletes them in my online account too. Thanks
Pretty easy to do. Go to http://www.outlook.com and sign in with your hotmail login name and password. While on the email page select the make new folder option. After you are done with that, log out and then go to your phone and download the Outlook Email App from the store.
after it loads you click on settings, folders and place a check mark in all the folders you want to access on the mobile app. After you signin from the phone you can then select the folder you want to save your email in.
Outlook also from the web interface be set up to get your pop email and you can tell it to leave a copy on the server this way if you want to view or delete it later you can.
Outlook gives unlimited storage.
The native email app that comes with your phone is limited and useless. The stand alone apps for Hotmail(Outlook), Yahoo Mail and others is more functional
