I got a Droid Razr Maxx in June replacing a Blackberry. With the Blackberry I could received an e-mail telling me that I had a voicemail message from my HOME phone. I could listen to the attached message without having to call an 800 number. With the Droid, I get the e-mail but after I download the attached message, I can NOT listen to it. I have stopped at 3 Verizon Wireless stores where no one has been able to help me. Two of the employees didn't even know this capability was possible. I believe it may be a lack of some software on my Droid, but I have no idea where to turn. Any ideas?

As it turns out, the feature available on Blackberry is not available on Droids. Case closed.

I don't know what carrier you have for your home phone, but I have AT&T Uverse and I get a notification of home phone voicemail via the AT&T Voicemail Viewer app fro Google Play. I can Play the message, save, delete, etc.
