Droid Razr Maxx issues. Help, please?

I have a Droid Razr Maxx. It's a week old. About 3 hours ago I noticed the screen and the back of it was unusually hot. I force closed all running programs thinking it was causing the phone to overheat. After 10 minutes and no change, I decided to turn it off and let it cool down. An hour later, my phone seemed to be back to normal so I attempted to turn it on. But it wouldn't turn on. I tried rebooting it by holding the power and volume down button, still nothing. It has been charging for the past hour and when I tried turning it on and rebooting it again, nothing happened. Any idea as to what happened and what I should do? Also, A white light blinks on when I charge it.

Hello liloh! I'm sorry to hear about your phone! I would suggest that you return the phone at once and get a replacement. There appears to be an issue with the device.
