Droid Razr Resetting

I've had my Razr for a almost a year now and it's been great. Last night I noticed that it randomly reset at one point, and then did it again later in the night. I didn't think much of it till it happened again this morning. I noticed that they tended to happen during movement, but nothing drastic, like me moving it around in my hand or putting it down on a table. I wasn't sure if this was a software or a hardware problem. Anyone have any ideas?

Was your phone in the midst of updating the operating system to Jelly Bean or have you recently updated to JB?  A simple reboot may take care of the resetting; otherwise, you might try a system cache clear (instructions have been posted in other threads; let me know if you can't find them).

My phone has already updated to JB and has been running a little slower since then, but nothing terrible. It updated over a week ago and didn't have this problem until last night.

If it were me, I'd try a system cache clear.  It may not help, but it won't hurt, either; it doesn't take that long to do and it shouldn't erase any of your data.

I've been having the same problem, and all anybody says is to clear the cache and if necessary a factory reset.  The reset wasn't actually clearing data on my phone that it should have, so I erased the internal storage through the settings menu, and then did a cache clear and factory reset.  Other than my gmail app not working last night, it's been working for almost 24 hours now without random things going awry.  That may be your last ditch effort if clearing the cache doesn't work.  Verizon offered to send me a refurbished phone with a 90 day warranty, so you can always go that route.  They know that people are having issues.  I was the third person in the 4 hours that they were open yesterday.
