Finally decided on the Maxx

  Well after much thought i finally decided on the razr maxx. Its due wednesday of next week and im excited. I certainly hope it meets my expectations . If its as good or close to being as good as my fascinate has been then ill be overjoyed but thats yet to be seen. Ive hads to go round and round with different reps about how my plan will change as far as some of my features but finally found a rep in the store  that was very knowledgeable about the devices and plans. I have to admit that was a difficult task in itself. So come wednesday im either gonna be real happy or trully dissapointed with my choice.   Anyway let me know your thoughts on your maxx.  I also heard that ics could hit the maxx in a couple months but we all know those lines   ...have a pleasant day    Jesse   ps   has anyone used the hdmi plug to your big screen tv and does it measure up to the 1080 claim?    thanks

Congrats on Getting your Razr Maxx

Here are a couple things you can to do when you get your Maxx out the Box From FedEx to help get you started:

1. The first thing is to charge it fully with the Charger that came with it an don't turn it on till its fully Charged!  On to No.2

2. On the Sim Card Read the small Pamplet that comes with the Sim or Read my post on installing a Sim Card or don't touch that Gold.  Basically a Good thing to remember is don't let your fingers come in Contact with the gold area of the Sim it's Sensitive to Static Electricity an the Oils that's on you Fingers. You can cut the Mini Sim out of it's Holder with a X-Acto Knife with a No.11 Blade! (Be Careful those blades are Extreamly Sharp) You won't need much pressure to pierce the Tabs an when done just lift the holder up n away from it. Then as it shows on you Maxx take the miny Sim Gold Side Up & Hold it by it Edges an install into your Maxx. If you have trouble pushing it in all the Way into the Maxx take a Wooden ToothPick Cut it to wear it has a Blunt Face on both sides of the Tooth Pick an you can then with a slight bit of pressure.. push it in to were the spring Mechanism catches it. Your done with that..

2.1 Now you can turn on your Maxx

3. If you need Assistance Programming it: Call customer Service an talk to a C.S.R an they can assist you thru the Walk Thru with your New Maxx .

I did exactly what i described to ya up a Above an have had minimal issues with my Maxx just an Occasional Soft Reset. Good luck with your Maxx & have lots of Fun with it B33

Well the Maxx should be your best as you had the Fascinate and that turned out to be a piece of junk and discontinued. I know because I had it and it went down

hill after Froyo came out

Just received mine a week ago today and I absolutely LOVE the battery life. No problems adjusting (changed from Incredible), did freeze up on me last night for the first time but it was an easy fix to get out of (after a google search lol) but otherwise all okay! Have fun!
