Galaxy S5 Ringtone cuts out

On my Galaxy S5 my ringtone will start playing for a second and then it cuts out. Then it comes back on and cuts out again. I have changed the ringtone and it does the same thing. These are stock ringtones. My ringtone volume is set to the highest it will go. I have turned off: Gestures, Mute/pause in case that was it. This is a replacement phone (I did not have this problem on my 1st one). I think it has been this way since I received this phone, but it could have started with the last update. Can someone help me solve this problem as I am missing calls.

TingleYou.com, I don't want you missing any other phone calls going forward. Let's make sure we get things back on the right track. Have you tried to play any other audio on the phone? Does it seem to be cutting out as well (watching a video or playing any kind of music)? Please test that out if you haven't had the chance to. Keep us posted.

TingleYou.com, we appreciate you reviewing these. Let's look further into this. If you go listen to the ringtones directly from Settings>Sounds> do they still cut in and out?

Please try this: http://vz.to/1kfywE3 When you reach Step 3, please choose Wipe Cache Partition, and not Wipe Data/Factory Reset. Once this is done, please select Reboot to restart your phone.

Test out the ringtones after this has been performed to see if all is back to normal. Keep us posted!

The ringtones do not cut out when listened to through Settings…Sounds.

I can get my phone to vibrate with your directions, but the Android logo never comes up after releasing the power button. I had this problem with my first phone also.

That is really odd, TingleYou.com. Let's start with this. Please test your phone under Safe Mode to see if the issue can be replicated.

I'm having issues with this as well. I've done the cache wipe, as well as restarting in safe mode to replicate the problem. Is there anything else that I'm missing?

I greatly apprecaite your concerns and all that you've done thus far in ensuring that your ringtones are proper. May I ask if you currently have Voice Answering on? ( Phone > Menu > Settings > Answering/ Ending calls > Voice Commands )
