Was just curious to know if anyone has figured out the screen capture yet OR if they Maxx even has one?! Thank you in advance

It's not built into our version of Android. Assuming you're not rooted, you may be able to find an app in the Market that will do screen captures. Just be sure it says for nonrooted phones.

Oh let me answer this one....buy a IPhone!!!! apparently its too difficult for droid phones to have a built in one....I know the galaxy does but who wants a samsung phone...not me....I got the Razr Maxx, which was a huge mistake, now i have to wait until god knows when just to get ICS and screen capture....the iphone has been able to capture screen shots for years....guess im gonna be forced to become a fanboy just to get new features and software releases on my phone....im sure ICS will come to the razr maxx someday but by then i will have an iphone....

There are many differences between an iPhone and a Droid Razr Maxx, the pros & cons of which I'm not going to start to debate.  There are fanboys on both sides and for good reasons.  However, this sounds like it's a huge deal to you so I wanted to let you know that you can get No Root Screenshot It by Edward Kim which will work on the Droid Razr if you require that feature.

You are correct Sally about fanboys on both sides. I was using the developers kit for the last few years to take screenshots. I bet that guy would like me to pay five dollars for a feature that should be built in. However, I know people that have had issues with the app. I don't want to just donate five dollars for something that the phone should already have. I will just wait until the iphone 5 comes out and upgrade then. Thanks for the reply though.

so you'll pay hundreds of dollars for an iphone just to take screen shots, instead of $4.99 for an app that's VERY highly rated? i agree that it should be a built in feature, but buying an iphone seems pretty drastic for one feature.

sell razr maxx buy iphone5....

ics would be nice for my droid but my contract will probably be up before it even gets to the razr maxx....

just to name a few....

I am not a fanboy of either

no I will not pay five dollars for an app that "might" work

depends on where a person is at with 2yr contract....will make big difference....oh and if they make changes in China, cmon work those people harder so I can get a cheaper iphone....hahaha

He is referring to my post and the app I spoke of, which is No Root Screen Shot It.

To Me this Feature is great now that we got it on the Our Maxx's i have tried it out on the Main screen, in the Text Message Screen. These new features on these phones is what keeps things exciting Now i can't wait to see what's in store in Jelly Bean.
