My wife has this phone and she never used more than a gig a month with her old smartphone (lg) and now she is going over two a month and it says that one of her highest running things is her my gallery. Now why would taking pics and such use up so much time?
Because if her settings have her automatically uploading every single photo she takes, that WILL use a lot of data. Change the settings so that the photos are NOT automatically uploaded. She can upload what she wants when she is not using data, such as when she is on wifi.

In today’s wireless world, the data demand has grown exponentially. As devices become more advance, users have a tendency to use more features than their previous phones may have had. As your wireless service provider, I want to make sure that you and your wife get the most out of your devices in the most economical fashion. May I ask have you tried the suggestion that rcschnoor posted? As he stated, Wi-Fi is an excellent way to supplement your data usage. Thanks rcshhnoor! Below are some more suggestions on how to reduce the data usage on your device.
